A recent study suggests that limiting coffee consumption to certain hours of the day can potentially lower the risk of early death. Researchers have found that drinking coffee earlier in the day, particularly before 10:00 a.m., may be beneficial for health. This is because the timing of caffeine intake affects our circadian rhythm (the body’s internal clock), which in turn impacts sleep patterns and metabolism.
Drinking coffee too late in the day can interfere with sleep quality, leading to health risks such as cardiovascular issues, higher stress levels, and increased inflammation, which may contribute to an earlier mortality rate.
So, the study recommends that for those who enjoy coffee, the best time to consume it is in the morning, ideally within a few hours after waking up.
